The hugely popular XMAX 125 Tech MAX is equipped with a state of the art 4.2-inch full colour TFT instruments with a multi-theme infotainment screen that enables smartphone connectivity. It’s easy to receive messages and emails, select music and much more – and a new Garmin navigation system makes the journey to work even easier.

The tight and dynamic angular body design with its X-shaped front lighting gives the XMAX 125 Tech MAX a sporty look that really stands out in the crowd. And this class-leading 125cc commuter also features exclusive colours as well as aluminium footplates, a special finish on body parts and a leather-style seat cover.

4.2-inch full colour TFT instruments

The 4.2-inch full colour TFT screen provides increased functionality – and above the main display there’s a separate 3.2-inch LCD speedometer. Using the switches on the left handlebar cluster you can switch screens and select from the multi-theme infotainment options, adding a new dimension to every ride.

Smartphone connectivity

When you’re riding the XMAX 125 Tech MAX you can stay connected with friends, family and work colleagues via the free MyRide app. A built in Communication Control Unit (CCU) enables you to easily link your smartphone with the machine and see notifications of calls and messages – as well as listen to music* and access a wide range of information and more through the 4.2-inch colour TFT display. Onboard naigation system via smartphone

The 4.2-inch full colour TFT infotainment screen supports a Garmin navigation* system using the Garmin StreetCross app. Once you’ve set your destination you can zoom in and out using handlebar switches and access real time traffic information, distance left, estimated time of arrival and more. (*The navigation app will not be available in some countries. Information on speed limits, traffic, etc., is not provided in some countries and regions. Speed limit data may also not be updated in a timely manner and speed limits may change depending on the time of day, such as in school zones or around construction sites.)

Dynamic body design

XMAX 125 Tech MAX comes with a dynamic and futuristic body featuring a tightly condensed silhouette. The angular front cowl and restyled fork covers emphasize this sport scooter’s pure MAX DNA, and the 3D boomerang side covers incorporating an engine heat outlet underline this machine’s impressive street presence.

Radical X-shaped headlight

This high-status premium Sport Scooter features a distinctive face in the form of a bold X-shaped LED headlight and position light design that lets everyone ahead of you know that the XMAX is coming through. The futuristic look is reinforced with the dual LED taillights forming an X-shape with integrated flashers that perfectly match the dynamic body design.

High-mounted front flashers

The dynamic body is fitted with high-mounted LED front flashers that not only look great – they are also designed to be clearly visible to other road users when you’re filtering through dense traffic conditions.

Full LED lighting

The XMAX 125 Tech MAX’s premium specification includes an X-shape LED headlight and LED position lights, as well as twin LED taillights with integral rear LED flashers that underline its futuristic and dynamic looks.

Improved ergonomics and leather style seat cover

Storage for two full-face helmets

The spacious storage compartment under the seat can accommodate two full-face helmets* when parked – and when you’re on the move this space is ideal for carrying everything from gym gear and personal items through to provisions or take away meals. (*Depending on helmet model.)

Blue Core 125cc engine

Yamaha’s advanced Blue Core technology maximises power while minimising fuel consumption. XMAX 125 Tech MAX’s economical 125cc single cylinder liquid-cooled engine delivers lively performance for efficient daily commuting.

Traction control system (TCS)

Traction control is standard equipment on the XMAX 125 Tech MAX and is designed to instill a greater sense of confidence when you’re riding on wet or slippery surfaces. Its sophisticated electronics intervene instantly to reduce driving force to the rear wheel if any tendency to slip is detected, making every ride more enjoyable.

Smart Key keyless ignition

Yamaha’s Smart Key keyless ignition makes every journey simpler and more convenient. Just make sure you’re carrying the Smart Key with you and the XMAX 125 Tech MAX can be unlocked and started – and access the fuel and storage compartments keylessly. You can also locate your scooter in a busy car park by pressing the remote button.

Adjustable screen and handlebars

It’s easy to adapt the XMAX 125 Tech Max to suit different riding styles and physiques. The screen can be adjusted in high or low positions, and the handlebars can be moved to suit individual preferences. And with the spacious footboards and redesigned seat it’s easy to find your ideal riding position.
